RHOBH S15, E2 Recap: Kyle Finally Acknowledge Her Lesbian Relationship + Meet Amanda

RHOBH Season 15, Episode 2: “Bearing It All” – Finally, Some Honesty!

Diamonds, let’s talk about Episode 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15. Titled “Bearing It All,” this one lived up to its name – well, mostly. After a premiere heavy on setups and evasive vibes, we finally got some raw moments, especially from Kyle Richards. Buckle up, because the emotional rollercoaster is just getting started.

Kyle Comes Clean (Sort Of)

The big bombshell? Kyle finally admits she’s dated since separating from Mauricio – and that her first post-separation relationship has ended. In confessionals (rocking that power blazer-and-tie look that’s giving major vibes), Kyle opens up about falling in love but keeping it private because her partner (widely speculated to be Morgan Wade) wasn’t ready for the public scrutiny. Heartbreaking, right? She wanted to shout it from the rooftops, but respect for boundaries won out.

Meanwhile, we see Kyle visiting Mauricio’s sleek new Hollywood Hills bachelor pad, armed with housewarming towels (a cute nod to their family inside joke). They chat about dating lives – Mau’s getting papped with mystery women, and Kyle gently calls him out. There’s still love there, but it’s complicated. Kyle’s frustration with the group prying into her life is palpable; girl, we get it, but you’re on a reality show!

Dorit’s Divorce Drama Hits Hard

Dorit Kemsley is stealing hearts this episode with her vulnerability. Navigating her very public split from PK, she’s fighting back tears while discussing the toll on her family – especially the kids. We see her leaning on her parents for support, and it’s a reminder that behind the glam, these are real life upheavals. Dorit and newcomer Rachel Zoe are bonding over their shared divorce journeys, prepping for that “Hot Girl Summer” energy. I’m here for this friendship!

Erika and Sutton’s Heavy Moments

Erika Jayne turns to Sutton Stracke for support amid ongoing legal woes tied to Tom Girardi. At a spa day, Erika drops a gut-punch: she’s heartbroken knowing Tom will likely die in prison, and she even admits hoping he’d pass before sentencing to spare the pain. Sutton’s there as a rock, but Erika’s raw confession – “I just kind of hoped he’d die before he’d go to prison” – wow. Heavy stuff… it sounds cold, but I get it.

Bozoma and Rachel Question Friendships

Picking up from the Summer Solstice party, Bozoma Saint John and Rachel Zoe are side-eyeing some group dynamics after feeling brushed off. They’re wondering about the sincerity of certain friendships (shade intended?). Boz has a sweet bonding moment with her daughter, opening up about loss and love – more depth from her this season, please!

Newbie Alert: Amanda Makes Her Entrance

We get our first real glimpse of new housewife Amanda Frances at Jennifer Tilly’s racy “Sip & Draw” party (think life drawing with a naughty twist). Amanda’s the self-made “money queen” who bought Kyle’s old Bel-Air house – and she’s registering for her own wedding at the same spot as Kyle’s daughter Alexia. Awkward run-in potential? Absolutely brewing.

Overall Thoughts

This episode felt like a step up from the premiere – more emotional honesty, less setup. Kyle’s admission was the catharsis we’ve been waiting for, Dorit’s tears were relatable AF, and the new blood (Rachel and Amanda) is integrating nicely. Is it just me, or is the group still tiptoeing around bigger confrontations? We’re only two episodes in, and with speed-dating drama teased next week, things are heating up.

(RHOBH S15 airs Thursdays on Bravo – catch up on Peacock if you missed it!)
