Everblog 21.5″ Digital Calendar | Product Review

What was your favorite Christmas gift?

The Everblog Digital Calendar was definitely my BEST Christmas gift!

It’s a 21.5-inch interactive wall display designed to act as a “command center” for busy households. While the name might suggest a device for writers (like an e-ink typewriter), it is actually a smart home organizer.

Impressive Display: The 21.5-inch 1080p touchscreen is bright and highly responsive. Despite not being 4K, text is crisp and easy to read from across a kitchen or hallway.

All-in-One Utility: It combines a Google/iCal synced calendar, a chore chart with a reward system, a meal planner, and a grocery list. When idle, it serves as a beautiful digital photo frame or a small TV for streaming.

No Subscription Model: Unlike competitors like Skylight or Hearth (which often lock advanced features behind a monthly fee), Everblog currently offers full access to its features for free.

Family Engagement: The “star-based” reward system for chores is a hit with kids, making household tasks feel more like a game than a burden.

Technical Glitches: The most common complaint is inconsistent calendar syncing. Users have reported issues specifically with Apple (iCloud) and Outlook calendars failing to update in real-time.

Setup Hurdles: The initial configuration can be unintuitive. The lack of deep documentation means you may spend more time troubleshooting the app and figuring out all its functions and capabilities than expected during the first week if you’re not tech savy.

Some features feel like they are still in “beta.” While the hardware is premium, the software lacks the polished, seamless feel of a more established ecosystem like Amazon’s Echo Show.

I love mine, and would definitely recommend it.
